Name of the Item: Athens Hotel & Casino Scale Model Mini Guitar With Stand
This item was given to attendees of the groundbreaking ceremony at The Hellinikon on December 22, 2023. The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Athens, located at The Hellinikon on the Athens Riviera, is currently scheduled to open in 2027.
I believe this guitar, along with a lanyard, are amongst, if not first, items ever produced featuring the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Athens logo.
Here is a link to the event I am referring to.
Are those little rhinestones on the guitar?
Leslie
Hi. No, they are not. It’s a sticker. The only thing shiny are the screws, strings and knobs of the guitar.
They also gave out some other interesting promotional items featuring the Athens Hotel & Casino logo at the same groundbreaking event, including a mobile phone stand shaped like a chair, a tote bag, a pen, and a notebook.
They also gave out a guitar magnet that came in a shiny box featuring the Hard Rock logo, although the magnet does not mention the city. I can’t seem to find the magnet listed in the catalog.
Let me know if any of these items interest you, and I can prepare new entries for them in the forum.
Whatever you have, I will take a look at them.
Thanks. Here is are some photos. Let me know if you are interested in any of them and I can take better quality photos tomorrow.
Hello @blossomgirl were you able to add the items?
The bottle opener magnet, need more photos. Was this also promotional? Also the little chair, does the tag have information?
Not yet. Will do soon!
Hi. As far as I’m aware, the magnet was given out at the same groundbreaking event. However, since I didn’t attend the event in person, I can’t confirm this with 100% certainty. I bought it as part of a lot from someone who did attend, and they told me it was among the merchandise that was handed out at the event. As you can see in the photos I’m attaching, there is a Hard Rock barcode on the back of the box with prices in different currencies. I’m not sure whether this is a generic promotional bottle opener magnet HRC has or if it was specifically made for Greece.
The bottle opener magnet is 4 inches tall. It’s goldish in color, and although the body of the guitar appears completely black in the photo, it is actually sparkly black.
The shiny box is 6 × 3 inches.
I’m also attaching more photos of the mobile phone holder - folding chair. This is definitely a promotional item.
@blossomgirl were you able to add these, should I close this post?
I have added most.
