When using the mobile app’s scanning feature on UPC’s, it appears it does not like UPC’s that have a single digit in front by itself. It will not read it. It will read all the other numbers, but say the item doesn’t exist in the database. But if you manually add the digit in front, it will show you the item. I have included a UPC photo as an example where this occurs.
Yes, I encountered the same problem today with several UPCs, although they do exist in the Database. I tried it 3 times and then it worked. When I re-try just now, the scanner worked fine and immediately found the items, which earlier it could not find… Really strange.
Yes, this is a new bug in iOS and we will do a release, hopefully this week. It is fine on Android.
